Janne Pietarinen, PhD, is full-Professor of Educational Sciences, School of Applied Educational Science and Teacher Education, University of Eastern Finland. Pietarinen works as Dean of Philosophical Faculty University of Eastern Finland, and Adjunct Professor at the Tampere University. He is one of the three founding co-leaders of Learning and Development in School -research group. His research interests are in educational transitions, pupil and teacher learning, and well-being in the context of sustainable school development.
